The risk of fetal growth restriction (due to nutrients not reaching the baby, for example) was 1:1861 (risk cut-off 1:150). My risk of developing pre-eclampsia was 1:4381 (risk cut-off 1:200). Waited until after the blood test confirmed it before sharing with everyone publicly. My doctor went through the results of my pre-elampsia risk test, 12 week scan and Harmony test with me. I had already announced and called my family as soon as we had the first visual. When I went in for my next apt they did another visual of the boy parts and nurses and the ultrasound tech were all telling me that they had never heard of that happening and never thought it was possible.they typically say the blood test is the only way to know for sure until birth as a sonotech can get it wrong. Blood test came back as a boy and dr called the lab and they explained that not every cell has the sex chromosome which is why they need so much of a fetal fraction to detect. Has anyone gotten the wrong gender reported on their Panorama or Harmony test I know both state 99 accuracy but I had both tests done with in 3 days of each other at 10.5 weeks gestation and the Panorama test said Male fetus 7.9 fetal fraction and the Harmony test said Female fetus 8.6 fetal fraction. I too had read posts that had me more concerned so I went in for an elective ultrasound at a boutique place and sure enough they saw a penis. Dr said she didn't see how the sex could change and I should still plan for girl. They asked for a new sample to redo the test. They say the reason for that is usually bc the blood was drawn too early, but based on when I had it done it shouldnt have been. Four weeks later the lab called the dr and said they read the fetal fraction wrong and there wasn't enough fetal dna and they shouldn't have issued a result. After waiting 2.5 weeks my doctors office called to tell me there wasnt enough fetal fan to complete the harmony test. Was told I was having a girl, I asked about the chance of error and dr told me they'd never had one be wrong. I had Informaseq, not Harmony but from what I've read they're essentially the same thing.
